To garner her special attention, Zeus is said to have turned himself into a bull – the most handsome among her father’s herd. It worked, and Europa decided to sit on the bull’s back. Immediately, Zeus took off and ran far away, Europa in tow. Eventually, he stopped, revealed his true form, and spoiled her with gifts to placate her. His seduction worked and together they parented 3 children.
